PC Solutions, home of the 30 day warranty, First will determine if the drive is really the problem. Sometimes it can be a motherboard or other hardware causing the issue. Evan a virus can make a system act as a hard drive is acting up. Once we determine the drive to be failing, we can try to clone the drive and save everything, try to recover the data if the drive is to far gone or in some cases, just install a new drive and start all over with the o/s and no data. Of course we have some tools here to recover damaged data or sending the drive out to a recovery service but that will fall under a new repair charge. All these repairs have different costs but we always start out at just $40.00 and apply this to the repair. Sometimes that's all it takes. Of course if a new hard drive is needed you will have that cost etc...
1 - Hard drive is acting up and can be cloned to a new HD. $40.00 labor and price of Drive.
2 - Hard drive is failing, can't clone but can save data piece by piece moving it to a new Drive with not much effort. $75.00 to $112.50 and price of Drive.

4 - Hard drive has failed, Needs data recovery in house, One hr minimum not to exceed 3 hrs being drive is in to bad of condition to retrieve data. Then option is to send out to recovery center at extra charge. $ 75.00 hr.
